APAX Contribution

Under the banner of the mother body Association of Muslim School (AMS), hosted by one its affiliated schools, the Auckland Park Academy of Excellence (APAX), and sponsored by Standard Bank a hefty contribution of R35, 613.20 was made to AMS.

At a formal handover on the school premises by members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), the representatives of AMS gratefully accepted the generous amount as its share of the profits resulting from the recent successful National Soccer Tournament, which took place at the Wits Marks Park(Jhb) a few months ago.

It was one of the most successful AMS National Soccer Tourney under the theme “Muslim and Proud” since the  inception of this event with 38 schools from throughout the country participating in the age categories from U 9 to U 17.

In attaining excellence, APAX made a substantial contribution towards the coffers of AMS. The Association was thrilled for the support and sacrifices made to achieve this. Through this donation, the Association will be able to accomplish its objectives and continue to work towards its goal to promote sports.

APAX School has truly made a difference by displaying our learners talents in hosting such a vaunted, eagerly and most talked about event on the AMS calendar. The AMS representatives have given the undertaking to use the contribution wisely in the promotion of sports at AMS’ schools.

APAX’s support is invaluable to us and for the budding sportsmen and women as we strive to continue aspiring towards excellence. By setting a challenging benchmark for others to follow, APAX is worthy of the accolades it hasreceived.

In conclusion, APAX can be proud as a school aspiring for excellence. May all future hosts aspire to the pinnacle set by APAX.
