Cii Youth AMS and APAX Annual Qira’ah Competition 2026 / 1448AH – Words of Gratitude
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
All praise is due to Allah Ta’aala. We send abundant salutations and peace upon our beloved Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, his family, his companions, and all those who follow his noble path until the Day of Qiyaamah.
On behalf of the Cii Youth Foundation, the Association of Muslim Schools (AMS), and the Auckland Park Academy of Excellence (APAX), we express our heartfelt gratitude to every individual and organisation who contributed towards the success of the Cii Youth AMS and APAX Annual Qira’ah Competition 2026 / 1448AH.
A sincere Jazākumullāhu Khayran to:
1. All participating schools and madrasahs. Alhamdulillah, 24 institutes participated at this year’s competition.
2. The students who represented three provinces—Gauteng, Mpumalanga and North West—through their beautiful recitation of the Noble Qur’an.
3. Our esteemed adjudicators: Moulana Sa’ood Ahmed, Moulana Mohammad Monia and Moulana Hasan Ravat (Witbank), for their professionalism, guidance and valuable expertise.
4. Cii Radio, Haafidh Imraan Ismail (Station Manager) and the entire Cii Radio team, for the live broadcast, technical support and seamless coordination.
5. Qari Osama Patel, together with the APAX Ulama, Asaatidhah and Management, for the outstanding planning, preparation and behind-the-scenes efforts. Qari Osama’s leadership throughout the programme was truly exemplary.
6. The Auckland Park Masjid Committee for generously making the masjid facilities available for this blessed gathering.
7. Mufti Akhtar Ali, CEO of Auckland Park Academy of Excellence, for his warm hospitality, unwavering support and encouragement.
8. Uncle Aboo Khan, Ameer of AMS Gauteng and Northern Provinces, for honouring the programme with his presence and sharing invaluable pearls of wisdom.
9. Our Cii Youth student leaders: Muhammad Wadee and Muhammad Urwah Pirbacasso, learners of APAX and members of the RCL, for their enthusiasm and dedicated service.
10. The Cii Youth Team: Moulana Waliullah Saiyed, Qari Muhammed Sheik and Haafidh Talha Seedat, for their commitment and tireless efforts in ensuring the smooth running of the event.
11. All the Muallimahs and sisters who attended and contributed to the success of the programme.
12. Every brother and sister who worked quietly behind the scenes. Your efforts did not go unnoticed and are known to Allah Ta’ala.
13. The parents and families who attended and remained throughout the morning, encouraging and supporting our young reciters.
14. Principals, CEOs, School Ameers, HODs of Islamiyah, Ulama and Qur’an Asaatiza for the sterling work and support.
15. Most importantly, our beloved students, whose heartfelt and beautiful recitation of the Qur’an inspired everyone present listening on-air.
May Allah Ta’ala preserve you, increase you in knowledge, sincerity and love for His Noble Book, and make you ambassadors of the Qur’an throughout your lives.
We make du’aa that Allah Ta’ala accepts this humble effort, grants every participant, volunteer, teacher, parent, supporter and sponsor the best of rewards in this world and the Hereafter, and makes the Noble Qur’an the light of our hearts, the guidance of our lives and an intercessor for us on the Day of Qiyaamah.
May Allah Ta’ala continue to unite our schools and communities upon the Qur’an and Sunnah, grant barakah in every sincere effort, and enable us to serve His Deen with sincerity, humility and excellence. Āmīn.

Dear Parent / Principal / Ustaadh
I trust that you are keeping well.
Jazaakumullaahu Khayran for entrusting your son to us for the Cii Youth Winter Leadership Camp 2026, held in association with the Association of Muslim Schools and Kruger Living on Nyati.
Alhamdulillah, this year’s camp was a great success, with learners demonstrating excellence by following the programme diligently.
Over more than 48 hours of continuous activities, our young leaders remained punctual with their Salaah, took turns making Imaamah, recited the Qur’an, engaged in dhikr, and studied the principles of leadership in Islam together with their practical application.
The learners also completed an examination and have been assigned a task.
Those who successfully complete and submit it by 24 July 2026 will receive a Certificate of Competence.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Shuayb Guman, his family and team for their outstanding hospitality and organisation.
Every aspect of the camp from the accommodation and catering to the conference facilities and meals was managed with excellence and great attention to detail.
We sincerely ask your forgiveness for any shortcomings on our part.
May Allah Ta’aala reward everyone abundantly, accept all the efforts made, and grant us all barakah and ‘aafiyah.
